In Honor of Jay ❤️
One thing you may not have known about our beloved Jay is that he quietly supported the Tunnel to Towers Foundation for years. Giving back to our nation’s veterans, first responders, and their families was a cause that truly mattered to him.
When Jay and I were dreaming up Dirty Birdy Car Wash, he was adamant that it be more than just a business. He wanted us to be a cause company, one that supported our community and always honored those who serve. That vision is why providing discounts to veterans and first responders became part of Dirty Birdy from the very beginning.
This year, it is incredibly meaningful to me to continue something Jay cared so deeply about by participating in the Tunnel to Towers 5K in his honor. I’m also proud that Dirty Birdy Car Wash will sponsor the event, carrying forward Jay’s commitment to giving back.
Tunnel to Towers was born from the tragedy of September 11 and lives by a simple, powerful message:
“While we have time, LET US DO GOOD.”
I can’t think of a more fitting way to honor Jay.
